While doing volunteer work in Southeast Asia, Romney became fascinated about why people think and behavior the way they do. Upon returning home, he began studying Psychology with the hopes to help people improve their mindset and as a result, their lives. As he realized that money plays a big part in why people do what they do, and his natural ease with numbers, the stars aligned and he started pursing financial planning.
Romney’s commitment to lifelong learning has led him to obtain his MBA in Finance as well as become an Accredited Financial Counselor® and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. He has extensive experience in advising roles from areas in finance, academics, athletics, and non-profits.
When he’s not nerding out on numbers, Romney enjoys serving in a local youth group and living an active lifestyle, especially playing soccer. Him, his wife, and their two dogs, Chaya and Ollie, are looking forward to growing their family with their first child on the way.
